The Willows Fire Department provides fire prevention services to reduce hazards and protect life and property within the community. Through code enforcement, inspections, and public outreach, the Department works to identify risks and promote safe practices.
Fire Prevention Services
Fire Prevention responsibilities include:
- Fire code enforcement
- Fire investigation
- Weed abatement program management
- Review, approval, and inspection of special events, carnivals, fairs, and fireworks displays
Business inspections are conducted by A Shift, B Shift, and C Shift personnel. The primary focus of these inspections is “compliance through education.” This proactive approach continues to reduce and eliminate fire losses within the community.
