Law Enforcement Services Update

On July 2, 2026, the Glenn County Superior Court issued a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) requiring the Glenn County Sheriff’s Office to provide law enforcement services within the City of Willows while the matter was pending before the Court. On July 9, 2026, the Superior Court dismissed the Temporary Restraining Order.

The Glenn County Sheriff’s Office has publicly stated that, despite the pending litigation, it “will comply with [its] constitutional and statutory obligations and duties and will perform these obligations and duties in accordance with all applicable laws.” The full text of the Press Release is available here.
